| 73746300 | Thanks for your response! Looking at the most recent imagery that seems to be available (Bing) it suggests that the roads that are marked as construction on OSM are now open. Something your GPS traces seem to confirm. So I'd mark Summit Vista Boulevard as highway=unclassified (doesn't look like service to me) I am local but not local 'enough' to quickly go out there and check the situation myself, unfortunately. Do you upload the GPS traces to OSM or make them available to the community some other way? That would be very useful. |
| 73746300 | Can you confirm that the roads this service road connects to in OSM are no longer under construction, but completed?

| 73768630 | Does the nickname apply to the entire trail? If that's the case, you should select the way that represents the trail and add a 'local_name' tag with that value. Let me know if you need assistance.

| 72270529 | Hi,
| 73365588 | I was also wondering what data you based your change on?
| 73365588 | You actually deleted a chunk of northbound Bangerter highway.. Please be careful when working on complex intersections especially when they involve major highways. I fixed the situation in changeset/73387432. Let me know if you have any questions.

| 73365588 | Hi Reemal,
| 73248380 | If you're referring to osm.wiki/United_States_Roadway_Classification_Guidelines -- it's stated at the top of that page that this is not an official guideline. In fact, there is no clear consensus in the US OSM community about road classification, and lacking that, I would ask you to take a cautious approach and discuss these changes on the talk-us mailing list or on the OSM US Slack channel. Thanks! |

| 73226397 | Since this is the back access to the properties, highway=service is more appropriate here. Changed accordingly.

| 72886788 | Hi and welcome to OSM! Thanks for your contribution. If you plan on contributing more in the future, here's a few tips I hope you will find helpful:

| 72618414 | Hi Freedom Editor! Could you please add descriptive comments to your changesets? Especially when editing administrative relations and city nodes, it would help to know what triggered the change. Could you elaborate on this one specifically since I am local to Salt Lake City? Thanks! |
| 70243814 | Hi, welcome to OSM. It looks like you're trying to bulk-upload data into OSM using ArcGIS. The result of this upload is 2440 nodes (points) with no attributes. This is of no value to OSM. I am assuming you didn't mean to do harm and make a meaningful contribution to OSM. I am happy to help you with that, but I will revert (undo) this change. I am local (Salt Lake City) and run an OSM meetup which you are welcome to join! Please message me through OSM (click on my username and click 'Send Message' if you want to work together on this. Looking forward to talking more! |

| 69327505 | I posted to talk-us, please see https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-us/2019-May/019507.html |
| 69327505 | I looked again at the transit route wiki and it states the recommended value as "<type of transport><reference number>: <from> → <to> " which you also didn't follow. I am going to propose to discuss this on-list because I see you have been editing bus routes across the nation and others may be interested in weighing in. |
| 69327505 | Hi njtbusfan,
I see you changed the name tag on many UTA bus routes to something that is more descriptive but doesn't match the official routes names from UTA. Can I ask after your rationale please? Are you local to the area? I would appreciate it if you would discuss sweeping changes like this before implementing them. Thanks,
