Hi. IMO, just deleting the deprecated tag payment:bitcoin=yes you are losing information about how people can pay services/goods in each place. You should check if bitcoins are still accepted and change the deprecated tagging with the new scheme, currency:XBT=yes or currency:XBT=no depending on each case.

Hi Vince. Thanks. The guidelines in OSM are that is a decision left to the renderer whether to abbreviate some words. It's straightforward to abbreviate, but no to revert it. If you are worried about the cluttering of the map, you can also use the tag short_name="René Favaloro", or "Favaloro", and each renderer can decide which string to use.

For example, if the renderer used speaks the name instead of drawing it, it's easy to speak and understand "Doctor", but if you send "Dr." to the speak engine you probably didn't understand what it says, unless it knows that it should expand "Dr." to "Doctor".

Ojo, eso no se permite, esta específicamente prohibido por Google, y podría generarle problemas legales a OSM. Además en OSM se prioriza y se incentiva el mapeo local, el relevamiento de las cosas que conozcas en persona.

Hay una (de tantas) regla en OSM, que en ingles es "one feature, one element", traducido es que por cada cosa del mundo real, haya una sola mapeada en OSM (sin duplicados)
