I’m sorry that you’ve experienced that. I have occasionally, through the years, encountered some unpleasant individuals. Fortunately, at this point, it has been a long time. Sometimes those unpleasant individuals were actually right, but their tact was completely unnecessary. I’d rather map with pleasant individuals that make mistakes, than people who do not know how to treat each other.

In those cases I just told them nicely they needed to approach me better, reported their behavior, and then just moved on. Life is too short.
