so please do not demote unclassified to track, unless you have inspected the road personally.

now I'm digressing, but time ago I remarked about the mapping of the Golan Heights, that show the `de facto` and not the `de jure` situation. and the reply from the editors was indeed that OSM shows reality, not theory. with this logic, very few roads in my home town should be marked one-way, or maybe the values could be 'yes/no/if_you_think_so'.

without an active local mappers community, things become difficult.

my idea was: »we're discussing uber.« they have car drivers. if uber can assume that their drivers respect rules, maybe they can use their traces as information source. which is maybe better than mapillary (which Sarathv did not mention) or ESRI (which seems to be their source.)

Sarathv seems to be working for uber, and they are surely interested in having the best available information. maybe their drivers could collect gps traces of what they do drive, respecting local rules (and customs)? otherwise, muralito, you see, they find a road with a one-way=yes tag, 6 years old, and they can't confirm it on their ESRI source, it's quite reasonable that they remove the tag. anyhow, without local presence, such information becomes guess-work.

if you want to raise the point again, at talk-ma@openstreetmap.org, it might fall on better ears this time. there's people from Apple map there now. according to me, the point to make is: enforcement by law vs most common use vs enforcement by physical impossibility: e.g.: a road which is 80cm wide, it has no bollard at its entrance, or has it, implicitly?

hola. la altura de la 'barrier=wall', es en qué unidad de medición? por defecto, OSM utiliza metros. el valor 140 sin unidad de medición será, un error, supongo. :-)

(también natural=wood debería estar en un área, no un nodo.)

hola. necesitas ayuda? estás insertando mucha información, y por supuesto que esa es la manera para mejorar el mapa. pero tienes unos errores en los datos, que no respetan la estructura de OSM. por ejemplo: dos lineas sin etiquetas; unas líneas parcialmente sobrepuestas y dos completamente idénticas; natural=wetland debe estar asociado a un área, no a un nodo, y si te encuentras en el área en este momento, puedes ser más específico, diciendo qué tipo de wetland es; tienes un par de senderos que terminan cerca de otros, pero sin conexión; tienes varios nombres TODO EN MAYÚSCULO, que no es la práctica común.

te he borrado la 'amenity=school' DIVISA, puesta en un cruce de carreteras, y he marcado como 'fixme' ese community centre, que no tengo manera de validar yo mismo.
