As you are the only person in the world using that value (8 times), for a key that is well documented, it would help the mapping world if you describe your intentions in the wiki:
osm.wiki/Talk:Tag:historic%3Dmemorial
Doing that, you might hope that at some day others will accept your tags and start using them like you do.
Otherwise it is unlikely that this key will be recognized by others...

I would go for:
historic=memorial
memorial=plaque
or using one of the other choices if you think that fits better.
See:
historic=memorial
You can ommit the area tag as the historic=* already includes the area.
If you really would go into more detail, you could add the bench and all the individual plaques as well. I wouldn't go that far, but it's up to you!

What are you trying to achieve with landuse=memorial together with memorial=area?
Both tags don't render and the area tag makes no sense with landuse!
Isn't there something better that describes the "thing" you have now invisible on the map?

Ik heb het inmiddels zelf aangepast.

For this object:
way/773829988
landuse=art is redundant (tourism=artwork covers it all) and also not one of the recognised uses of the landuse=* tagging scheme.
Apart from that: you are the only one in the world using this tag in that way.
Maybe remove it, as it makes no sense.
