landuse=area is nonsense! Have you ever seen landuse which is NOT an area?
Please read this:
osm.wiki/Map_features#Landuse
landuse=* should describe the type of landuse, not its dimensions.

landuse=area is not correct because landuse always is an area!
What kind of landuse is it? (industrial? residential? etc).
