I don't think there is a key (yet) to describe this situation well. Could you post your question in the German Forum?
https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewforum.php?id=14

Your solution is not bad in this case, but because you are the only one using it, we maybe should search for a solution that fits a broader use.

Is there a visible separation between the two?
How can bicycle riders see that there is a part of the road not meant for them but to be used as a footway?

Hi,
What exactly is "cycleway:width=2" telling me more than "width=2".
See here:
way/698118124#map=17/53.23745/10.44000

where you use this key on a designated cycleway.

highway=path
width=2
bicycle=designated

is enough to describe it.
You are the only person using this key.
When you invent a new key, shouldn't you not also create a wiki page to describe it's function/meaning/use?

napo, you're right, it wasn't you. Sorry.
Anyway, it's fixed now! :)

You can see from the aerial pictures that this area is in development, and probably all of it will be landuse=residential, but for now the greater part of this area should be tagged like so:
landuse=construction
construction=residential
And only the small part where the houses are, can be tagged as residential. Once the area is no longer "under construction", you can remove the construction=residential and change the landuse key to its proper value.
Read the wiki:
landuse=construction

Hi palimpadum,
You have used natural=taxiway for this object:
way/648460304
But a taxiway can hardly be considered something "natural". You must have meant something different, but what?
Regards,
Marc.

Hi,
For the landuse of this:
way/635093133
you have used a telephone number.
That must be a mistake!
Regards,
Marc.

Hi napo,
You have used a very weird value for landuse!
Did you mean to use:
landuse=religious
Marc.

But this time you misspelled its name!
Can you fix that?

Can't you see the mistake you have made with this new edit? You probably don't use the right tools. JOSM is far better editor which gives much more control over your work.
Please zoom in to this:
way/306751516#map=18/53.69713/-1.32190

Don't you see that you now have connected both lanes of the Park Road (north of the roundabout) to the same junction of that roundabout? Please, fix that asap!

Dear BobTheEditor,
Thank you for your reply.
I have checked the above comments Bernard made, and they do make sense!
Also you probably should review your other edits as well. Please first try to fix those errors before continuing with new edits.

Also you should read the wikis:
osm.wiki/Map_Features

and probably join the forum:
https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewforum.php?id=5

or join the mailing list:
https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk-gb

Thank you for your cooperation!

This edit is part of a research for KV pairs that are very rare (maximum use = 3) or highly unusual or plain wrong.

Probably a change of username, so now I ask user BobTheEditor to reply to the comments of user BCnorwich.

Hallo Escada,
Op dit punt:
node/4282736568#map=19/51.18227/4.40340
heb jij aan een informatiebord ook nog de tagging: "natural=Dood hout brengt leven in het park" toegekend. Dat kan nooit de bedoeling zijn geweest toch?
Groet,
Marc.
