The maps.me App is not a good for editing OpenStreetMaps data. I would recomend the ID editor. You can find out more about OpenStreetMaps here: osm.wiki/About_OpenStreetMap

And by the way: There is a furtherdevelopment of Maps.me called Organic Maps (privacy focused, improved map and no crypto nonsese)
