Ahoj, není ta změna špatně?

Mirovice jsou sice město, ale do mapy se jako "town" označují jen města nad 3000 obyvatel. Podle mě tomu Mirovicím víc jak tisícovka ještě schází.

nebylo by lepší ty chodníky u ulic jen označit na cestě ulice tagem sidewalk=left/right/both?
Jsou momentálně k ničemu nepřipojené, takže pro pěší navigaci nepoužitelné.
Nemyslím tím ty, kde to jde parkem nebo výrazně jinak než ulice, ale klasické chodníky jen oddělené obrubníkem.

Ahoj, můžeš prosím ty změny dát do samostatného bodu zájmu? Jsou přidané na adresní bod, ten by měl zůstat tak jak je.

Ahoj, co je s tím přestěhováním? Podle mě tam sice není okresní ředitelství (už je jen krajské na Plavské), ale obvodní oddělení tam pořád ještě zůstává. Nebo se něco změnilo i v tomhle?

Please check carefully if something is already mapped or not. As a tip - almost every school and dispensary is already mapped, no need to add.

není v tomhle případě geometrie z RUIAN nešťastná? U všech budov tím chybí podloubí, a jejich část v patře nad podloubím.

Přesně z tohohle důvodu jsem všechny budovy okolo náměstí považovala za nevhodné k přetrasování.

I got contacted from the HOTOSM side of this - there is some legit use of maps.me from several users resulting in newbie mistakes and technically wrong edits. We are now trying to work out what can be done to improve the contact with the local mappers and to improve the quality of the edits.

It seems the edits are meant to be corrected at later time. We are also trying to find perhaps some better way to go about it or find an reasonable compromise between the easy way and the ideal solution.

I have suggested monitoring the comments as first step, even if the answer would be a copy / paste one. Another suggestion was to set periodic reviews of the additions.

As already mentioned several times in comments and in mail to your account, please, please check that what you are putting on the map isn't already there.
The Mombasa Bus stand, for example, is mapped since August 2015, for the second time mapped by yourself in February 2016 and now for the third time. Similar for the Kibeberu bus stop, the Hospital ya jeshi and Machimbo bus stand (again twice by you). There is more in this changeset, I stopped at the Diana cafe (again, already on the map).

I am not sure, what the problem is. Even though the maps.me map doesn't show the newest changes, the old ones had to be there, unless you haven't updated the map for a long time. And if you cannot see that you already put something on the map, bring it up to the maps.me developers, do not simply add it again.

And please, answer the comments - we would like to know if you are reading it.

Could you please stop putting the points on a road? As already noted several times in different changesets and in the much longer message to your account, it brings nothing to the map if the position is off and cannot be corrected by somebody else unless this person has local knowledge. You have either map it correctly or correct it later by yourself. Putting farming area/school/whatever on motorway or primary road will only lead to revert or delete soon or later.
These edits don't help at all.

Hi and thanks for adding to the map. But I have noticed the additions are not very useful - often "attraction" is not a tag to use alone, and the position on a road is suspect or downright wrong as well. The same for using "community centre" to name villages. Could you try to correct it, or if you are not sure, map it as notes with as much detail as you can? It is important to get the position correct - not where you are standing at the moment, but where the house/shop/etc. really is.
At the moment, it needs another local mapper, because nobody can find out where exactly you wanted to put the points on the map.

Thanks for adding to the map. I have noticed that you have added several points several times - even though they already were on the map. Could you please try to check for it (for example the Berega church, school of nursing, mission hospital, St. mary's primary were all already there since 2014, you have added it here and in another changeset).
Some of the points have wrong tags - if you cannot find the correct one, please use a note instead, somebody will put it on the map correctly.
