To be honest, I really, really don’t have time to survey EVERY POIs and map it in detail. The POIs add & update was stopped in Aug 27, 2025. I’ll take an entire year to deal with POIs specially.

Data Sources & Methodology

Transparency is key. Here are the sources I rely on for my mapping:

1. My own GPX tracks and on-the-ground surveys > This is my most trusted data source, gathered during my field surveys.

2. Jilin-1 Satellite Imagery > High-resolution and up-to-date imagery, excellent for detailed micromapping. I use this when Tianditu is blurry or cloud-covered.

3. Bing Aerial Imagery > The community-approved standard. While sometimes outdated, it offers exceptional clarity in rural areas, making it ideal for mapping tracks and unpaved roads.
