What is going on here? When I look at the OSM home browser screen, I see a substation and some transmission lines and towers headed NW. When I use the 'Query features' tool those items are selectable. But when I go into the iD editor, none of that is there.... no station, no towers, no wires. This has been true for several days.

In 2025 a Snowland ski and sled area is opening in Fairview Canyon (not necessarily right where I've placed this note), operated by the nonprofit Snowland Foundation. A good project in autumn/winter would be to learn exactly where it is and tag it out.

Don't believe the imagery. This more direct path is not the real route anymore (8/2021).

I suspect this is disused [https://sugarhousecouncil.org/aveda-vocational-school-855-garfield/], so building=church would stay, but amenity would be disused:amenity and denomination, name, etc. should be deleted (once this speculation is confirmed, I mean).

To keep an eye on: Construction is starting on the Backman Community Open Space. Over summer 2025, a new public park will take shape west of Backman Elementary, featuring a nature playground, outdoor classroom, and native plantings. A section of the Jordan River Parkway Trail will also be rerouted to improve safety. The park is set to open in fall 2025!

July 2022: I observed that a grade-separated multiuse asphalt path begins here and parallels the road, going south. Unfortunately I don't know how far south it goes, and it is not showing on imagery. But it should be added based on survey, local knowledge, or imagery (if it ever updates...).
