more difficult to change is an understatement.

There are many shared landuse boundaries not using multipolygons without issues, thus avoiding overcomplication (whenever we can get away with it). that's how I approach this kind of mapping.

This is a peculiar use of multipolygon, making it difficult to make changes.

in a way I am quite relieved that most local mappers are not really into micro mapping, and keeping the kiss principle close to their hearts.

i) building level = 1 tak perlu kerana ni adalah nilai default (bahasa baku = nilai lalai).
2) house ni kita guna utk rumah sebijik2 mcm bungalow atau kat kampung tu. guna building=terrace (yg ni digunapakai meluas) utk rumah teres.
iii) rumah teres kalau ada jalan potong kat tengah2 tu kena diasingkan mengikut blok, jgn jadikan sebagai satu blok.

1) landuse=park ni kengkadang lebih sesuai kepada kawasan yang lebih luas mcm taman kat tongah somban nun. cuba tengok kalau tag recreation area lebih tepat utk padang permainan taman.

2) bab nama. Kalau memang ada terpampang papan tanda tulis nama "Taman Permainan bla bla bla", kita boleh taruk name=*. Tapi kalau setakat nama yg diguna oleh orang taman aja tanpa nama rasmi, gunakan loc_name=*.

3) bab address ni jarang yg dijumpa dan diguna pakai untuk taman. bab ni selalunya nominatim (server kat OSM) akan rumus sendiri kat mana taman ni berada. Kalau addr:street, mesti nama jalan tu wujud dekat2 situ, takleh taruk nama tempat.

kalau kedai bunga, tambah shop=florist,
kalau mini nursery boleh tambah shop=garden_centre. shop=garden_centre

per your review request:
- we local mappers used to use living street before this, but most of us decided to stop using it since in actuality that classification requires an official declaration that the street is such. (some of us still use it on dead end 'lorong' in taman perumahan though, it is an understanding that anybody driving fast enough to hit a kid on those street will be dealt harshly by the residents. hehe)

- usually streets around flats are designated as service roads, however my personal contention is that if there''s a street name for it then it's either residential (in flats area) or unclassified.

- most lower classed roads have the implicit allowance for bicycle, foot and everything else (except horses) - default values. No need to include them in the tags. However put restrictions if there's any.

- you can use straighten lines (S on iD) to make the roads straight. First you chop them into segments, then straighten, then finally combine them again.

- you can add a point and designate the place as neighborhood and name it. For apartments/flat areas, it is preferable to create a polygon around the areas, then tag it landuse=residential, and name it. Further, you can refine with barrier = fence, barrier lift gate, access rights etc etc as appropriate.

Yang Lorong 5 ni kira driveway ka? banyak rumah lain sepanjang jalan ni, sedangkan kalau driveway (American) defaultnya laluan ke satu rumah sahaja. (sebab tu ada news pasal org kena tembak sbb tersalah masuk driveway, kalau driveway milik org ramai ownernya yg mental takkan defensif camtu)

Ha... something is messed up somewhere I guess. I was on JOSM with kartaview layer turned on, but there's no recording shown in this area. Oh well, Grab/kartaview is not known to be that good at maintaining their side of services.

Don't entirely agree. Redundancy is something that OSM seems to be fundamentally against.

Why do you add name:ms for items in Malaysia? You do realize this :
