Istnieje gorący spór o to, czy lepsze jest tagowanie węzłów czy obszarów, i niedawno był omawiany na liście Tagging, więc to zależy od tego na kogo trafisz. Ja akurat uważam, że węzły tylko udają większą dokładność, a w rzeczywistości nie da się określić gdzie leży środek jeśli w ogóle nie wiadomo jaki jest kształt, więc węzły traktuję tylko jako pierwsze przybliżenie obiektu, który i tak nie jest w pełni weryfikowalny (jak większość granic i obiektów na wodzie).

Jeśli wszystkie dane są tu przekopiowane, to moim zdaniem należy go usunąć.

Could you explain what do you mean by "it does not match reality"? Is there something not real with gulf being limited by the coastline - other than coastline not being accurate in itself (which is the real source of what you called pseudo precision)?

Southern line was just first approximation (straight line), it should be drawn more precisely over time.

Did you notice that the name=* tag of USA has been changed according to discussion on forum? Please look at https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?id=63384

Also please use comments when making any changes to the map, so other users know what's being changed.

As of naming: in case of objects (for example gulfs) which belong to more than one country, we use double names in the name=* tag (like "Bottenviken - Bottenhavet") plus all the language names in name:xx=* tags. It is still one object, but with multiple names. See for example relation/8140878. I've made it exactly like that, but somebody else came and changed the name into English name which I opposed and was waiting for reaction. But before this problem has been resolved, KitonZenobia removed the whole object just because he/she doesn't like on the one of the maps (it is not advised to just remove things without even a contact, even if you don't like how they look).

I don't think it was misused - do you think that Gulf of Bothnia doesn't exist? It should not be removed, labels are related only to the specific map style, not the database.
