Hallo habi. Die Veloparkplätze wurden vor Kurzem wegen der Bauarbeiten am neuen Tiefbahnhof aufgehoben, weshalb ich die Tags amenity = bicycle_parking entfernt habe. Die Tags building = roof für die übrig gebliebenen Überdachungen habe ich stehen gelassen (obwohl mir dieses Tag für simple Unterstände etwas übertrieben vorkommt), evt. wurden diese inzwischen aber auch abgerissen. Gruss

Hi. Kannst du dich noch erinnern, woher du die Information hast, dass dieser Weg Reckweg heisst? Ich bin da kürzlich entlanggelaufen und habe keine Schilder gesehen. Weisst du eventuell auch, ob der Fussgängertunnel in Bremgarten zum Reckweg gehört (siehe note/1188145)? Der ist ebenfalls nicht beschildert. Gruss

Hi! You don't have to add `bicycle=yes` tags to residential roads, as those roads are `bicycle=yes` by default (see osm.wiki/OSM_tags_for_routing/Access-Restrictions#Switzerland). We only map deviations from those defaults, e.g. if a traffic sign forbids bicycle traffic (see also osm.wiki/Good_practice#Don.27t_map_your_local_legislation.2C_if_not_bound_to_objects_in_reality). Hi. Stimmt, sorry. Eventuell hat mich irritiert, dass dort Mopeds erlaubt sind. Habe moped=yes ergänzt und sidewalk=left mit segregated=yes ersetzt, da dort kein Trottoir existiert (nicht erhöht, nur durch Pflastersteine markiert).

Are you sure? So, public car parks have to be tagged with access=yes? This is something we're not doing for any other amenities and most else (roads, parks etc.).

If you're on H11 and want to search for the next public car park e.g. on Maps.me, you'll get dozens of private car parks, but not the public ones. This is a major disadvantage of OSM compared to Google, Search.ch, Here, Bing etc.

I don't think that car parks for visitors properly tagged with access=private are useless; what I wanted to say is that amenities without access key imply that they can be used by the public. Therefore, not tagging private car parks with access=private gives wrong information to anyone looking for a car park in that area.

Mapping private car parks without access=private may be useful for ~1% of people (visitors) but makes this tag useless for the other 99%. (And emergency vehicles need to know where the driveways are, not the car parks.)
