This trail is well-worn, I think many mtbs have run over it.

These are some paths/roads that give a shortcut for non-motorised traffic.

I knew about these paths, but had not seen them on OSM. When walking along the route, I planned to take a gps recording. Please review the eastern part, as I couldn't get disconnected from the cycling path.
