| 39703009 | Yes, before my changeset the park was a polygon. Then, I have converted some polygons to a relation. But really I'm not the creator. |
| 39703009 | Hello. I don't know either. Probably it doesn't exist. Some state parks was converted from leisure=park to leisure=nature_reserve. The first is commonly used in urban parks and the second for natural protected areas.

| 46594373 | I'm agree with naoliv. We should talk with the author of this relation and export the data to an umap. |

| 47032939 | Maybe is more easy send an email with the petition about updating the ocean polygon in these map stylings. |
| 47032939 | Hello! In this case these bays are parts of the ocean (the larger waterbody that you mean). But, apparently the map styling that you show me doesn't updating the ocean polygon (the ocean is procesed separatley as a huge (multi)polygon). I believe some map styling only update the ocean polygon once in the year. Only solution that I can see for the render is the replacement of natural=bay by natural=water over the ocean (note that natural=coastline should be placed in the top of the tidal range).

| 47138016 | Of course, is interesting to differentiate the type of a coastline. Unfortunately there are no a tag for this purpose yet. The tag natural=coastline is only used to mark mean high water spring and it doesn't capable to differentiate the type of seawater. We can create a new tag based on your ground observations. |
| 47138016 | Definition of the natural=coastline is independent of locally established divisions. boundary=* tag supplies the second purpose. Your point view is incompatible with the OSM basic principle "Map what's on the ground". |
| 47138016 | But technically the wiki doesn't prohibit the usage of waterway=riverbank into the sea. Then, if the sources doesn't convince you, we can use both tagging: natural=coastline & waterway=riverbank + tidal=yes |
| 47138016 | Furthermore, note that in the description of natural=bay you can read the next text: "The edge of a bay towards land should coincide with the coastline" in the section 'how to map'. |
| 47138016 | According the description of natural=coastline it should be placed exactly in the mean high water spring i.e. IMO more or less here: osm.org/#map=15/-33.9765/151.0237
| 47138016 | You're wrong, all renders support natural=bay. This is the approved tag by the community for mapping a bay area. Here you can see an example of a successful rendering: http://overpass-turbo.eu/s/nOQ
