Hi!

In this changeset, you've tagged Mottisfont Lane, a public highway, with motor_vehicle=designated, foot=yes, bicycle=no (or bicycle=designated on some parts), and horse=no. This road is a designated cycle route - part of the National Cycle Network Route 24. I did not see any restrictions on horse riding. Could you confirm these restrictions on horses and cyclists, please?

On a normal public highway without restrictions, there is no need for motor_vehicle=designated - I would normally expect to see that tag on a byway open to all traffic, or on a motorway.

Thanks. Looking at it, there isn't a bridge as such, so I've changed the stream section under the road to tunnel=culvert. I've added the traffic calming nodes from my Mapillary footage.

I see you removed traffic_calming=bump from Ludgrove. Can you confirm that it has gone, please - the traffic calming was very annoying when I was last there.

If you look at the history of the roads around Nine Mile Ride Extension and Park Lane, you will see that I edited them quite recently based on a survey at the beginning of May - hence how I know that one of the roads you added does not exist.

With OpenStreetMap, you have to be careful to use up-to-date information that isn't subject to copyright ( osm.org/copyright - particularly the "Copyright infringement" section and osm.wiki/Copyright_Easter_Eggs ). If OpenStreetMap contains data from disallowed sources, it could be subject to legal action.

OpenStreetMap is used for all kinds of uses, including journey planning for logistics companies, hence it is important that the information is correct.
When entering data into OSM, you need to enter a proper changeset comment, giving details of your source and what you are trying to achieve. In addition, use the boxes in the "source" section to select or enter sources.

Examples of acceptable sources (see also source=* ):-
• Bing aerial imagery or any imagery visible in iD
• OSMUK Cadastral parcels ( https://osmuk.org/cadastral-parcels/ )
• things you have seen yourself or recorded in a GPS trace, including road signs
• things you have seen when using Mapillary or KartaView - both allow and encourage use of their imagery for OSM

Examples of disallowed sources:-
• Google Maps, StreetView, or Earth
• Council websites
• Developer websites
• documents, maps, or plans issued by councils
• documents, maps, or plans issued by developers
• Ordnance Survey maps ( osm.wiki/Ordnance_Survey - "OSM takes great care not to taint the database with intellectual property rights belonging to outside parties.")

If you have used any of the disallowed sources in your previous changesets, you should add a note to each giving your source so they can be remapped using allowed sources.

Hi!

In this changeset, you've changed Lower Earley Way, Lower Earley Way North, and Whitley Wood Lane from highway=secondary to highway=primary, but left the ref as B3270. What was the source for this edit? Have the roads been upgraded to "A" roads?
B roads should be tagged as highway=secondary - see osm.wiki/Roads_in_the_United_Kingdom

These changes to Croft Road don't make much sense.
Were your edits based on a recent survey? If you look at the Mapillary footage, you'll see a barrier on one leg of Croft Road that blocks all traffic. Has this barrier now been removed?

* way/1058990732 - I've not seen any signs saying this part of town is called "ends". If this is the correct name, should it be capitalised?
* way/1058990733 - is this house really called "the crib"? You might want to look at osm.wiki/Addresses_in_the_United_Kingdom#Address_tags

Hi!

This changeset deleted the link between the segregated cycleway and Addlestone Moor, meaning that journey planners would be unable to access the cycleway. I've rejoined them now.

Both are interpreting bicycle=dismount correctly.

for example, iD has this:-

This is tagged as being part of two LCNs (R20, Wokingham Cycleway) and an NCN (NCN422), so bicycle routers should have no problem with it.

That's not the case - bicycle=yes means bikes can be ridden. If there are Cyclists Dismount signs, then the tagging must be bicycle=dismount.

When I was last in the area, the narrow footways around Loddon Bridge had signs saying "Cyclists Dismount". Have the signs been removed now?
