Please stop adding national roads (network=GR:national) that do not exist: the list of national roads are at osm.wiki/Greece/National_Roads. The ring road relation that you added is not a national road, so I had to remove it. Also, please get in touch with the Greek community because we have a lot of concerns about your recent edits, such as fake junction layouts, and your lack of communication with us.

I recommend that you do not map proposed bypasses in Greece that are not yet approved and ready for construction: we see a lot of proposals in the news, but many don't see the light of day.

I also wish that you do not map ways that have been demolished, such as way/1436727127. That is for OpenHistoricalMap, not for our project.

The filter roads at 38.851669,21.336762 were removed because Esri World Imagery disproves its existence. What is the source for all those filter roads you've added?

Please explain why are you continuing to add non-existent junction layouts despite many block messages telling you to not do it?

You continue to add split approaches that do not exist according to Esri, such as way/1436727115. Please explain why you keep doing this: fake junction layouts and filter roads do nothing to improve the map.

Sorry, but I also forgot to mention my concern about fake junction layouts as well. The DWG has asked us to try and urge you change your editing practices, but this is something that I cannot handle alone due to so many real life issues.

We can map ways in a park: they could be useful as a shortcut, and Esri World Imagery shows that the ways exist.

Most of the numbers from the Register of National Roads (1998) that did not appear in the 1963 list were for statistical use only, from what I can remember. For example, the ΕΟ110 in the 1998 list refers to what is now the Α6 Attiki Odos.

I have to refer you to https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/road-classification-system-talk-poll/74967 to see how complicated it is and how it led to a lot of disagreements between editors. If you have questions, you can start a new discussion in the community forum.

kiwi75, not all of the numbers from the Register of National Roads (1998) are used in practice, such as the ΕΟ102 and ΕΟ111. Such numbers belong to "ref:esye"=*. I know I got to update the documentation at osm.wiki/Greece/National_Roads, but some of the decrees used are complicated.

Fizzie-DWG, It may be necessary to revert all of Michel Castano’s changesets from 3 September 2025, because I do not know which of the edits are affected by the deletion of highway information or not. I am worried that without a revert, the broken data will pass on to services that use OSM, and cause problems for people in Honduras using those services.

Please pause your speed limits edits immediately and check the "Speed Limit Updater" software you are using: we have reason to believe that the software you are using for these edits is broken, because it is deleting other highway tags.

They are still doing it: way/388777934 - at this point it's pure vandalism combined with questionable sources.
