A concern has been raised about this changeset, which resulted in breaking changes to navigation tools in the area. Please read and respond at: https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/report-vandalism-or-concerns-about-edits-here/4223/207

Also used Mapillary for lighting data.

That junction has been shut for years, and it still is.

Hello, I think Mirditor22 reported that the new roundabouts at the future junction 15 of the A3 are open and original course of the EO15 is restored. I have fixed the area to reflect the change, and used better tags for the old detour.

Source has a typo: it was supposed to be "Ministerial Decision Γ25871/1963 (ΦΕΚ Β 319/23.07.1963);Register of National Roads (1998)".

Sorry that I have been busy recently, but name=* tags cannot detect cardinal directions: it's not a technical capability on OpenStreetMap. The name change you made could not be justified in any reasonable way, mainly because of the reasons provided in the link thread, and also because of the fact that Northern Cyprus is recognised by no one other than Turkey. Next time, major changes in the island should be proposed at https://community.openstreetmap.org .

To be honest I am still trying to get the gist of vehicle access for residents only. access=*#List_of_possible_values states that "'access only for residents' is motor_vehicle=private", but I think motor_vehicle=destination would also do the trick. But it's definitely not motor_vehicle="citizens only" because that is not a standard value.

We have a tag to describe a road where cars are restricted: highway=pedestrian + motor_vehicle=destination.

Hello, approaches to roundabouts use the ordinary road types, and not the "_link" variants.

Hello, please use descriptive changesets comments. I ask this because we recently dealt with a mapper who left bad changeset comments while making problematic edits, and made numerous accounts to get around the blocks.

The junction layout that you mapped at 39.5549520,19.9120813, 39.5704980,19.8928244 and 39.5904770,19.8929881 do not reflect reality: they are in fact simple undivided junctions. Only map junction layouts that reflect reality.

It would be great to know where the documentation is for the rule. Thanks.

Regarding changeset/164906440#c1451135, if you provide a link to the discussion, I will try to adjust my mapping practices especially if the community post was recent.

No, not government surveillance: I happen to come across the mapping error while I was proof-reading National Roads after many years of neglect, but all of our edits including mine are documented in the version history, which editors use to determine who made the erroneous edit. I also get questions about my edits from time to time: see https://resultmaps.neis-one.org/osm-discussion-comments?uid=4763179

At the coordinates, there are two corner "filter" roads that are marked by road markings. Unlike roads separated only by hatched lines (a type of road marking), we map corner filter roads if they are marked by road markings.

164906440

I wish to ask why are you deleting filter roads that were marked with hatched lines, like at 37.5371688,22.7169448 ?

I am concerned that you are not leaving descriptive changeset comments: "fix issues" isn't clear enough.

The first word of the comment was a typo: it was supposed to read EO2.

…and one way roads, too. While the National roads should be as close to the city centre as possible, practicality is a major factor.

Hello, what is the source for the ΕΟ23 road? The road doesn't appear in the 1963 and 1998 list of roads. If there is no source then we cannot map the ΕΟ23. Please see: osm.wiki/Greece/National_Road_Network
