Just about starting at the sharp turn to the right, this part of the path towards Wheal Edwards is completely covered in gorse and blackberry bushes. All the way up to your chest. The path is not visible at all. When I was there in August 2025 I had no other alternative than to go straight through and make a beeline towards the other side of this loop when I saw people walking there. If you're hiking in these parts, be aware!
