This tarmac footpath continues through a small line of bollards then then down the N side of Leaveland Close linking to Village Way. But on OSM they are not linked together. You can see it on satellite mapping and Google Street View. It doesn't appear to be used by or intended for cyclists and the tarmac doesn't continue into the sometimes very muddy woods to the east.
