If I undo the deletion of the cycleway tags, I should also delete bicycle=use_sidepath, right?

Naar mijn idee is het een overbodige tag als er een fietspad is gemapt, het enige doel dat ik zie is aan te geven dat er een apart fietspad is maar dat nog niet op de kaart staat.

Die wiki pagina bestaat nog niet zo lang en (gelukkig) is het gebruik laag.

Op de wiki bestaat cycleway=seperate niet, zie cycleway=seperate maar bicycle=use_sidepath wel, zie bicycle=use_sidepath

De cycleway key geeft fysieke eienschappen aan, de bicycle key access/toegangsattributen.

In deze changeset heb je o.a voor way/7520416

bicycle=use_sidepath

verandert in:

cycleway=seperate

Dat vindt ik geen goed idee, er ligt een fietspad naast en dan is bicycle=use_sidepath de aangewezen tag.

In deze changeset heb je o.a. het stationsplein voorzien van oneway:bicycle=no, prima!

Maar ook cycleway=opposite en dat is een beetje dubbelop en achterhaald, zie https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?id=65612

Thanks for the details, understood that you are required to dismount at crossings on a cycle track.

I am not sure where your preferences for using condition @ dismount comes for but I think it is not a good idea because there is a simpler solution (bicycle=dismount). OSM data is also use by routing engine and I am quite sure they do not understand things like "bicycle:conditional=yes @ (dismount)"

In this changeset you added pieces of cycleway with:

highway=cycleway
bicycle=no
bicycle:conditional=yes @ (dismount)

and:

highway=cycleway
bicycle=no
bicycle:lanes:conditional=designated|no|designated @ (dismount)

That is quite confusing:
* if is it highway=cycleway, it should not be bicycle=no
* the conditional tags seems to indicate you have to dismount, if so, why not use "bicycle=dismount", or even better, make that piece of road highway=footway
* bicycle:lanes:conditional? Does the cycle track have multiple lines?

In deze changeset heb je/hebben jullie bicycle=no/foot=no aan de R16 toegevoegd.

Ik vraag me af of dat correct is, vele van deze wegen hebben cycleway:right=lane en op bijv. het kruispunt met de Antwerpseweg is duidelijke fietsinfrastructuur aanwezig.

bicycle=no betekend dat het wettelijk niet in toegestaan er te fietsen, is dat het geval of is het een geval van (bijna) niemand gaat hier fietsen omdat het te gevaarlijk is.

I really do not see how cycleway*=separate can be useful for routers or renderers. All a router needs is bicycle=use_sidepath and renderers will map cyclewas anyhow on lower zoom levels.

To evaluate how many streets in a city have a cycle path use bicycle=use_sidepath.

Can you describe one or more situations where bicycle=use_sidepath is not 1:1 mapping to what you think cycleway=seperate is for?

No, I do think it is not a good idea, it is data-duplication without a good reason. If you map a river, you do not map the grass that is adjecent with "water:left=yes" or something like that, right?

Ich finde "cycleway:right=separate" merkwürdig, es gibt bereits "bicycle=use_sidepath:" und man kann sehen, dass es einen separaten Radweg gibt, so warum es explizit hinzufügen

The last updated added cycleway:right=opposite, but looking at Esri World Imagery (Clarity) and Mapillary I see that not making sense.

Also bicycle=no on these four ways is strange, while the motorway "Rodovia Quarto Anel Viário" has bicycle=yes.

Do you know the situation on the ground? If so can you have a look?

The video from BicycleDutch shows (temporary) two-way operation likely until the other brige on de east side of the rond-about is done.

I did assume you were local, but understood you just watched the video ;-)

Mooi dat de brug nieuwe brug erop staat!

De brug lijkt (tijdelijk) twee-richtingenverkeer maar in OSM is hij op dit moment eenrichtingsverkeer, net als de aansluitende fietsen.

Weet jij hoe het precies zit? Kan jij het evt. aanpassen?
