Ausbau der K 24 zwischen der L 98 und Illerich
Ab Montag, den 5. August 2019, beginnen die Arbeiten zum Ausbau der Kreisstraße 24 zwischen der Landesstraße 98 und der Gemeinde Illerich. Landrat Manfred Schnur begrüßt, dass es allen Beteiligten gelungen ist, wie geplant, mit dem Ausbau der K 24 im Sommer 2019 zu starten: „Der Landkreis Cochem-Zell investiert weiter systematisch in das Netz der Kreisstraßen. Mit dieser Maßnahme wird die regional bedeutsame Achse der Kreisstraße 24 in der Substanz entscheidend verbessert.“
Dipl.-Ing. Bernd Cornely, Leiter des Landesbetriebes Mobilität Cochem-Koblenz, informiert über die Details des Projektes: „Die K 24 befindet sich in einem schlechten baulichen Zustand. Der Asphaltbelag weist auf dem gesamten Streckenabschnitt zahlreiche Netzrisse und Unebenheiten auf. An der Fahrbahn innerhalb des bewaldeten Gebietes sind besonders in den Kurven Setzungsschäden vorhanden. Um erneute Setzungen in diesem Streckenabschnitt zu vermeiden, werden als Böschungsstabilisierung Randbalken und Stützscheiben in Erdbetonbauweise unterhalb des talseitigen Fahrbahnrandes eingebracht. Die Erneuerung der Fahrbahn erfolgt ansonsten überwiegend im Hocheinbau, d. h. es werden neue Asphaltschichten auf den Bestand aufgebracht.“
Die Umsetzung des ca. 3,7 km langen Ausbaubereiches erfolgt in 3 Abschnitten unter Vollsperrung. Der Verkehr wird daher für ca. 10 Monate über die L 98 und L 107 bei Landkern umgeleitet. Den Ausbau übernimmt nach Abschluss der durchgeführten öffentlichen Ausschreibung und erfolgter Prüfung der Angebote die Firma Gotthard Lehnen aus Wittlich. Die Baukosten in Höhe von ca. 1,7 Mio. Euro trägt der Landkreis Cochem-Zell. Das Land Rheinland-Pfalz fördert die Maßnahme in Höhe von 79 % der zuwendungsfähigen Kosten.
Der Landkreis Cochem-Zell und der LBM Cochem-Koblenz bitten die Anlieger und Verkehrsteilnehmer um Verständnis für die Beeinträchtigungen während der Bauarbeiten.
