Hi Antonine,
Thank you for contributing to OpenStreetMap by adding restaurants in the Netherlands and Cyprus. I think I once made Hemelse Modder myself in the past :-).
Although I also make the mistake it gives better overview if you only add items together in one changeset that are geographically near. This helps other mappers who see your changeset making sense of what changed.
Other good practices are listed here:

Keep up the good work!

Since there is still no reaction, I have decided to remove the mtb scale.

You must be kidding here. First of all, the Tugela Falls are not visible from this spot. Secondly, there is definitely not an erotic shop in this gorge. How did you come up with this?

Hi Dave,
You added the name God's Window again to this viewpoint, after it had been moved in changeset/7366413 about 4 years before. However, I think this is a duplicate, and the actual God's Window viewpoint is an approximate 300m SW and already marked as God's Window which was added in changeset/7366413 too.
I visited this location last year and have a picture taken from the location 300m SW where there was actually a sign stating that that location was gods window.

So I think you are mistaken, and suggest to remove the name from node/385017732.

Kind regards

Why would you add mtb:scale=0 to an asphalt road like way/79073714? Even an racebike can easily ride there. It does not add any information in my opinion... It actually misleads those looking for a beginner mtb road, finding themselves on asphalt...

Hi clemagna,

Thank you for participating in the openstreetmap project and congratulations with your first edit.

Two tips for the future:
- Try to add a sensible description of your changes, so you help other mappers to understand what you did, or tried to do. Also try to describe where you got the info from so other mappers now how to verify. For example "Changed Victoria to non-smoking, after survey on location" or "Changed highway surface to asphalt based on aerial imagery".

- Try to keep your changesets in a small region, especially when you do changes that are not in itself a big area. Now you did one change in Stuttgart (Victoria) and the others in Zürich. Other mappers which may check your changes are typically working mainly in a certain area and only have knowledge of that area, or the ability to check in the real world.

I noticed you accidentally merged a node of the Caroline-Farner-Weg with Lienhardt & Partner Privatbank Zürich and thereby created a non-existent zigzag in the Caroline-Farner-Weg. I will reverse that mistake now.

Keep on the happy mapping!

Hi Andy,

I am adding details to South Georgia. I see you assigned Tonk hill on Bird Island an elevation of 209 m. I can only find a source with its alternative name Stejneger Peak stating it is 190 m instead.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stejneger_Peak

https://geonames.usgs.gov/apex/f?p=138:3:0::NO::P3_ANTAR_ID,P3_TITLE:14550,Stejneger%20Peak

Do you, after 3 years, potentially remember what your source is that states 209m?

Actually, natural=tundra may be better... It is less precise maybe, but since no accurate survey is possible without starting an expedition, it may be more applicable.

Hi imagico
Thank you for the compliment and for the comment.

I've selectively read the article and it explicitly mentions the northwestern area near Elsehul as extensively grown with tussock, additionally there should be some grass heath at higher altitudes where the soils is better drained.

From this imagery it is hard if not impossible to judge what is heat and what tussock, so I will tag everything as natural=grassland.

Hi Elvis
What is attraction 97? Why is it useful for anybody using the map. For it to be relevant for other people using the map more detail is required, otherwise it is just spam and confusing.

Hi Gigi,

Are you sure the name of the fall in French is Chute de Mac Mac, since in English this fall is called Forest Falls? There is another fall slightly downstream the Mac Mac River which is called Mac Mac Falls, see node/4640516486.

Cheers

verschlag muss Vorschlag sein...

54405526

Ich folge der verschlag auf der Wiki für das Schweizer Wandernetz.

osm.wiki/DE:Switzerland/HikingNetwork#Routen

'name' ist keines Teil des Vorschlags.

Ich verstehe deine Position, aber mann kann auch begründen das die Route keine wirklichen Name hat, nur ein Ziel.

Bist du Mitglied der Schweizer Mailingliste? Vielleicht soll das mal diskutiert werden.

Das letzte Kommentar geltet für die normale Strecken für (Berg/Alpin)Wanderwege, nicht für den Rigi Lehnenweg

I meant split into 3 etappes, the 2 etappes Goldau-Sattel and Sattel-Hagenegg have not been mapped yet and were never in the original relation.

53724311

Wenn ich mich der Wiki anschaue, dann steht der 'name' tag dort nicht bei die Route relationen.
osm.wiki/DE:Switzerland/HikingNetwork
