Its very likely that is what happened. My mistake! I think its a generic name without the brand you cited. Can you share the node id? I don't remember where this location is and I'd like to remove that mistake.

Hello,

I noticed that you added a considerable amount of crossings in Astoria/East Elmhurst last year. When I selected them many were not 'marked' crossings as mapped or not crossings at all. Please do not map squares simply because it is the fastest way and instead map each individual way so that they differences among them can be queried and put to use. While I appreciate the amount of area you covered I have to inspect each individually to see if a crossing exists or not. Thanks

I saw the error on the last 7 bus stops i added with "Go Map!" I'm still new to the mobile app which doesn't suggest the correct tag spelling.

Thanks for reaching out (very rare these days on OpenStreetMap!) I spoke to the local councilman a few years ago who said that the loop was designed as an emergency services turnaround but confessed even he doesn't obey that rule. So I guess while on paper that is the rule what the population actually gets away with is another story!

Hi doesn't the Greenvale need to have the gap closed? I am not familiar with the exact shape of the Census Designated Place but it appears that it doesn't close and an island was formed. I can close it if you'd like

It shouldn't have the old name at all. I couldn't see all the tags on the OSMAnd app when I was in front of the restaurant so thank you for pointing it out. And yeah it should be moved. I'll change it

Not opposed at all. Bikes are more likely expected to be walked across or go north/south around the block. I thought of it more as a Spruce St-Beekman St shortcut for pedestrians and bikes. But if it's not intended for that kind of travel please change it as you see fit. Thanks!

Hi I noticed your fix of several boundaries across the country. If you have a chance can you also look at the following relations? I moved them and I don't know how to fix the holes I've created inside JOSM. The validation tool is not very forgiving. Thank you for your contribution to Long Island administrative boundaries!

Hi I noticed you created a water area over most of Long Beach Island's beach area. Did you intend to represent the sand? At least according to the Digital Earth imagery this looks like the beach area to me.

Hi please considering using the 'noname' tag for footpaths instead of 'name=namelss'. Usually footpaths don't have a name unless there is a historic connection esp. those found in Central or Prospect Parks

do you know what kind of slipway will be by the hunts point phase 2 development? Like accessible for small boats or bigger, trailer drawn boats (the node by 2nd avenue & 57th street)

I am using a mobile app (osmand) to add the emergency phone tag. I am unaware of how to add a tag to a changeset as your comment states.

I made the decision to connect to the road because a sidewalk way was not yet drawn and to allow for pedestrian routing. Would you recommend making the tail section of the present stepstreet way a footpath or sidewalk way?

It looks like Search & Destroy belongs in Manhattan not Brooklyn. Did you mean the St Marks Place by Cooper Square?

Hi there. Please only add water tags if you can see water. These are buildings and roads.

I agree but I wasn't sure how to represent this in OSM. As the website indicates they are group of residential buildings all under the name "Plaza Borinquen". Would that be represented as 3 polygons (possible multipolygon)?
