It was based off of the original location set by another mapper, but I agree that it is not on the summit and it should ideally be moved to where the trig point is to the north, which is the true summit. The same could be done for other peaks by using OpenTopoMap contours to locate the highest point.

The inage also shows other named areas which are not shown on the map but are the names of the wider massif/ mountain areas

The area named Bannau Brycheiniog is the mountain area directly south of Brecon including Pen y Fan and Waun Rydd, which are the 'original' Brecon Beacons. It is the name of the mountains in this are which was later taken as the name of the National Park.

OS OpenData StreetView and OS OpenMap Local place names

I have changed the name back to "Manydown". Having looked on the latest imagery(Esri World Imagery), there are signs of cable/pipe laying and site preparation.
The web page https://manydownlife.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Manydown_TimelineMapAmended.pdf
has a timeline of when construction will occur at Manydown, it shows that the next stage will be house building, following construction of access routes and utilities.
I would think that landuse=construction would be a better tag than landuse=farmland for now as it is no longer farmland.

I will add man_made=spoil_heap to the spoil heaps but landuse=landfill is incorrect as the waste is above ground not buried beneath it
