Sure. OSM has a lot of tags - not all of them are applicable to every object. The editor tries to show you the ones that are most relevant for the type of object you have selected, but it doesn't mean that all of them are mandatory. Regarding names specifically, the name=* tag is only for the actual name of the object in question, not descriptive names like "Flock Ovilla" or similar. This information can be captured in other ways, like the fact that it is contained within the Ovilla administrative boundary: relation/114460 , and that the manufacturer is listed as Flock Safety. osm.wiki/Names#Name_is_the_name_only Hope this makes things a bit clearer! Happy mapping

Welcome to OSM, and thanks for your contribution. The name tag shouldn't be used for descriptive names like "Flock Ovilla" - it's totally fine for objects you add to not have a name.

Thanks for your contribution. description=* is not for marketing text. I went ahead and mapped this whole development - would appreciate it if you take a look and double-check my work :) Thank you for uploading the mapillary coverage!
I went ahead and fixed this for you.
this is in the middle of an intersection.
Welcome to OSM, and thanks for your contribution. You are correct, we only use separate ways if there is physical separation, like a wall or median. You can tag the passing lane with the lanes:forward/lanes:backward key as described on the wiki osm.wiki/Lanes#Two_driving_directions let me know if you have any questions, happy mapping!
Welcome to OSM, and thanks for your contributions. You added both of these as hospitals - there are dedicated tags for both helipads and fire departments. I recommend you complete the built-in tutorial and take a look at the wiki. Let me know if you need any help making these changes! Happy mapping

| 168709748 | the barrier=kerb nodes should not go on the main sidewalk way, but rather on a "stub" connecting the main sidewalk to the crossing. From the barrier=kerb wiki page: barrier=kerb#On_a_node

Please use the expanded suffix ("Parkway" instead of "Pkwy") for street names
For this task, you should merge the existing reservoir node with the new area you drew. You can do this in Rapid/iD by selecting both, right clicking, and selecting "merge". I went ahead and did this for you for this dam. Let me know if you have any questions :)

mystery solved! happy mapping
| 168325111 | If you mean google Street View, it's not an acceptable source for OSM edits.
Available sources (bing streetside and NAD) show Corporate Drive - do you think this was a recent change? |
is this really called "House of Shih Tzus"?
Welcome to OSM, and thanks for your contribution. Whenever possible, please try to realign the existing building geometry rather than deleting and redrawing it. This preserves the history of the object and helps future mappers!
welcome to OSM, and thanks for your contribution. This edit looks good to me.
welcome to OSM, and thanks for your contribution. This looks good to me.
the suite or building should go in addr:unit, and addr:street should only be used for the street name.
I don't think we have permission to use nearmap for tracing. Please stick to the built-in imagery layers unless you are certain we have permission :)
| 168117468 | Welcome to OSM, and thanks for your contribution. The warnings that iD shows are not necessarily issues which can be fixed blindly - you need to look at each on a case-by case basis. In this edit you changed
