Hatch Mill, Darvills Lane, Surrey. I believe that Henry Rose was the miller here prior to 1881. His daughter Annie Rose was in the 1881 census. Any info on Henry and his doings here would be appreciated.

Bois Mill
This mill is a substantial building, constructed of red and black bricks in a chequer pattern, with a slate roof, iron-framed windows and a chimney shaft. The first clear record of the mill dates from 1824. Originally built as a corn mill, this mill has served a number of roles. In 1853 it was milling corn, but by 1864 it was a paper mill. By the 1930s it was used for wood-turning. [© 2017 The Mills Archive Trust]
