Thank you helping with this! The park already had an access=private tag before it was deleted. I checked some street-level photos and could see some signs that say residents only. The user of the original changeset seem to be the property management company of this estate so I guess they are trying to further discourage people from using it.

Hi! Can you clarify where does the 10 mph figure come from? Is there a speed limit sign? Thanks!

Thank you for helping to map out bike infrastructure! Unfortunately I am reverting your edits for the bike paths. The reason is that, for bike ways to be mapped as separate ways and tagged as cycle paths, they have to be not inherently part of the roadway and physically separated from vehicle travel lanes. For a roadside bike path, there has to be physical barriers separating it from traffic (eg. curbs, jersey barriers, guardrails, planter strips). Otherwise, on-road bike lanes, including those with painted buffer but no physical barrier, are represented as cycleway= tags on the main roadway ways. You can find more information here: highway=cycleway and cycleway=*. I will make sure to check your edit areas are tagged properly for the cycle infra. Thanks for your effort and happy mapping!

Hi, thanks for correcting the directional prefixes! The changes to the bus routes are a byproduct of the edits and splits of the road elements. These are totally normal and automatically handled by the editor software, and you don't need to anything about that manually. Happy mapping!

Hi! Thanks for adding the entrance/edit details. I do want to let you know that, when it comes to numbering building levels, OSM follows the European convention - so the ground floor (first floor in American terms) is level 0, and the floor above that level 1, and so on. Happy mapping!

Hi! Thank you for your work updating driveway and parking lots. Your edits for the driveways/parking lots themselves are very well done. However, there is no need to add the various turn restrictions to all the possible entrances to closed ways - having access=no or motor_vehicles=no added to the closed ways will suffice. Yes it doesn't show up on iD editor's turn restriction window, but please rest assured that routing engines know how to handle it and the access tags also do show up on map renderings. Thank you and happy mapping!

i checked alternative aerial sources and it does appear that the intersection config was changed temporarily for some time in 2024-25 for 148th to be oneway southbound here, but it has since been changed back

Hi! You added a freeway called "Project Alignment" in this changeset, but that is definitely not a freeway that exists on the ground today. Is that a proposed project/future construction?

thank you!

I also sent the user a DM before seeing this discussion. I let them know that their upload is deleting other tags and asked them to stop.

Hi Ed,
I understand your frustration, but OSM in the US reflects legal restriction in terms of roadway access restrictions, and it's not really up to us to decide what's legal or not. And since your use case is an extreme edge case where the designated routes are delibrately not used, I think it's not unreasonable to expect that some roadways are not optimal for bikes, and that the tagging according to guidelines is not an issue for the vast majority of cases.
