On Birmingham New Road, off-peak (9.30am to 3.30pm) lane closures will remain in place until around Easter, while the finishing touches are made to the £1.5 million, government-funded highway improvement scheme to reduce traffic congestion, improve conditions for cyclists and pedestrians, and address road safety concerns following several accidents at the junction, which is on the boundary of Wolverhampton and Dudley."
