Mapping lawns as landuse makes a pretty picture with the default rendering style but somewhat poor quality map data. It may appear quite hard to distinguish between landuse=grass that is actual landuse, landuse=grass on top of other landuse that is just a lawn and landuse=grass that intersects other landuse by error.

These highways in Imanta are service ways for apartment blocks rather than actual living streets.

Highways are mapped according to their function, not legal status [1]. While the sign 533 [2] imposes certain traffic rules, it does not change what these ways are used for. There is living_zone=yes tag [3] to map highways affected by the sign 533.

A lawn or any grass patch inside landuse=residential or landuse=retail isn't landuse=grass. Generally landuse should not overlap [1].

There was an attempt to introduce the landcover tagging scheme [2] to map the actual surface, but it does not appear widely used.
