The Baxter Trail is a 2 mile section Delaware River Trail and East Coast Greenway that goes from Pennypack on the Delaware Park to the Fish Hatchery at Pleasant Hill Park. The portion of the trail from the Pennypack Creek to Pennypack Street is open seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day on weekends 8am to 8pm. This trail intersects with the Pennypack Park bike trail.

At this location OSM maps show a trail,which is true but these is a locked gate with no public access at the property line. This gate in the fence around the property is locked and prevents access to the Delaware Health and Human Services DHSS Holloway Campus which is a large campus for mental health / psychiatric hospital. Google street view has a fuzzy view of the gate.
