I have been to NWTC and other CTA & Pace bus terminals around the area. I always make my edits in good faith using a combination of in person visits and online sources based on how things appear at the time. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.
Sorry, Just to clarify, shouldn't the stop name include Northwest Transportation Center instead of just Bay 4? It's more specific.
Sorry, I must have made a mistake when adding the operator tags. I was trying to fill in the system.
I just moved the bus stops because of a notice from pace a month ago about a routing change.
| 133275838 | Just out of curiosity, I know street names are fully spelled out on OSM, but wouldn't points like bus stops benefit from shortened names be easier to see at farther out zoom levels or when other points are nearby like a separate bus shelter or mailbox? Also, that's how they are listed on Pace's bus stop list like 2036 Lincoln Hwy as opposed to 2036 Lincoln Highway.

For reference, What is a nested route master and why is it just called bus 603 for the master? Wouldn't a route name be more descriptive?
Thank you for your help. I'm trying to learn JOSM, but' it's complex. I mostly use ID but Potlatch has some good features like the ability to selected all the nodes and ways for a relation which is how I duplicate these routes for each direction. I then go back to ID to manually move the stops in order but I think I may just find it easier to delete the ways and redraw them in order than to move the around.

Shouldn't this be a separate route because it provides 24/7 service between 95th and Harvey and is the only Pace route providing overnight service? I try to mark the Owl routes separately to show which ones have overnight service.
I understand the newer scheme of tagging each traffic light in an intersection. I just try to reduce redundancy and clutter, but I can't always get the arrows in the right directions for approach. I try to leave standard cross shaped intersections with a single light in the center. As for more complex ones with side turning lanes, I add those lights separately.

No, I was just curious. Thanks for the update.
Are they moving to a new location?
| 122096741 | 722 Bus now operates on posted stops only
Thank you for pointing out the Duly site. That was a mistake. As for Comed. I thought The covered the entire Chicago region.
Sorry, I don't have as good of local knowledge of DuPage as you.
The Chicago Fire Department ones you added are no longer stations They have moved to newer facilities.
Hi Clay, Sorry for the confusion, I thought that because this was a service yard for trains the term was appropriate. I will also make sure to avoid doing mass edits and including unrelated adjacent edits from now on.
I was under the impression that if a building was fully occupied by one POI than it can be merged.
Sorry for the confusion, I was going by the official route name on Pace's website. As for stop vs platform, I was still using an older method of tagging. I will use platform from now on.
Unlike Metra, The CTA has set stopping positions regardless of car length so the front car is always in the same spot.
The Train stops are not named by car numbers. This will mess up every system that lists the stops in order. Please do not edit like this.
