Also, as a suggestion, if you want to map trees, try using natural=tree or in this case a line marked natural=tree_row

What are you trying to do here? If you want to map parts of the park as being covered in woods, by all means go ahead and add new areas, but why are you replacing the tag on the entire park with woods? It's inaccurate - there is playgrounds, parking lots, buildings and open areas in this park.

This isn't a park. Might I suggest adding landuse=grass if you want to map the green space around the church?
