The DCS Base Map (should be available with your editor) has the present day boundaries ... they include the boundary for the road... take a look.

The DCS base map says no wet land in this area at all.
Additionally there are several areas that are not grass that are within the relation but not members... meaning there is some work to do on the relation.

There is an error with the relation created here. The outer ways cross one another and that is the 'error'.
So ... why create the two ways? Is there something different between the two parts of the building?

Next question? Why is there the tag 'layer=1' on this building? Does all of it go over something?

The fire station building is not named .. it is the amenity (area) that carries the name..

Some hints?
A 'building=roof' would also be tagged as being higher that the road it covers so 'layer=1" could be an appropriate additional tag.

A multipolygon's outer ways cannot share segments. So a 'roof' over an entrance is probably best left off the main building, makes very little difference to the map and is easier to map.

Thge OSM guide is One festure = One OSM entry. As such a building is one feature and a firestation is another feature. Here you have added 2 fire stations to 2 buildings that are the same fire station. The area has been tagged as a fire station, thus there are 3 fire station where one exits.

Some hints?
Building Way: Lane Cove Fire Station (1080968692) is not a fire station. It is an ambulance station. For OSM in NSW there is a 'DCS Base Map' that gives you that detail. This has been corrected.

What is the source of the building name=IGA?? Would this not be a supermarket? If so then the building has no name, the name is for the shop. Place a single node where the shop is and tag that as shop=supermarket, name IGA.. ???

The 'Gogeldrie Fire Brigade' tagged 'building=yes' .. well that implies that all the site is a building. I have fixed this and changed the name to 'Gogeldrie Rural Fire Brigade'.
