The multipolygon relations outer ways cannot share segments... so all of the ones created here are wrong...
I would simply delete the relations and then tag the remaining ways as building=yes.

The basic question is .. what is it used for? If it is OSM 'free_flying' then ok .. good. leisure=free_flying has some 24 uses in OSM .. not large. sport=free_flying some 4,900.. I'd think leisure=pitch would do .. it is the land based area for it (not in air based)

For astroturf I'd use surface=astroturf

When you add an Ozie beach .. add the tag surface=sand. In other parts of the world they tag 'beaches' with stone, mud, rock ... not something we'd call a beach.

The sport tag can also be applied to shops, sports centres, recreation grounds .. so some physical feature is required. Think of the sports tag like the colour tag .. it has to have something to function.

OSM needs a thing to be a 'feature' so the map maker can chose how to map it. Tagging 'name=Takeoff Area' does not do it. Helicopter? Hang gliders? What is it?

Looks like everything other than the wetland and building are faulty .. in that they do not form a simple error free area.

Note Mapovis is copyright .. so that cannot be used to map the development.

The changeset only partially removed the area.. leaving some open ways still within the tree relation. This left the relation broken - hence my attention.

Looking on Maxar the trees look to be where the relation says there are trees... see way/580331831#map=17/-33.82928/150.92040

If you want to remove all of the wetland .. the delete the relation and then the 3 ways if the ways server no function.

I have restored the original wetland relation. Looking at the DCS Base Map the wetland area looks to be 'ambitious' (from 2016) and could be reduced to that of the Base map.

Use the DCS Base Map for boundaries.

As this is a 'new' admin boundary? then it wont be there - just put source=estimated on the boundaries your not certain of. The next update should have them.

No cigar. Boundary broken, restored back to DCS Base Map.

Partly reverted to restore tree area.

Just as the water features are independent entries to the park entry so too the trees should be an independent separate entry in OSM.
So to map the trees simply make a new closed way for the trees, it should not be reliant on the park way or nodes.

When you uploaded this changeset you would have gotten a warning about the upload you were going to make - one warning would have been about the way without tags. And there would have been far less than 100. Failing to fix these problems leads to more and more of these issues .. issues that others have to fix. The easy thing to do is to delete the entry made ... shall I do that for all of your bad entries? Certainly that would be fast and easy for me.

Marsden Park is not all trees .. so tagging it as both leisure=park and natural=wood is not correct.

Does the park rally extend along Gilchrist Drive?
