For way/678304435 North West Transitway you have changed the tag highway=construction to highway=service, but left construction=service. If the construction has finished the tag construction=service needs to be removed as well as changing highway=construction to highway=service.

The relations that have been created here are not correct.
For the grass it is simpler to create a close way to represent the area. The relation had a line that enclosed no area. I have fixed this.

For the recreation ground .. the relation was not closed - had a gap. It needs the addition of 2 ways to close the gap. I'll leave you to do that?

I'll restore the old entry for this state forest.

One place i worked in had a summery of the copyright laws above the photocopying machines.. there is a limit of 10% of the work that can be copied for study/research/review .. over that 10% and you breach the law.. think that is case law as determined by a court .. not in the act/regs.

Under the 1968 copyright act OSM is not allowed to use the data. The act was amended in 2006 .. under that amendment OSM is not allowed to use the data.

From your response I take it the 61352394 is a dead end .. I'll tag the last node as 'noexit=yes' and then the quality assurance tool will no longer flag it as a problem.

You should be able to respond on changeset/68873358 - that also brings up the map that you can interogate.

I think making the landuse=froest similar to landuse=military might be simplest .. with stripes of green rather than a solid colour .. but I have not looked in to it yet .. too much to do.

1a) OsmAnd is a tremendous app. I use it. it is possible to customize the rendering .. so you might have landuse=forest show anyway you like .. fingers crossed.

Looking at mapnik rendering in OsmAnd the colours are the same for both wood and forest (and that is fairly typical of all renders) ... which rendering are you using? Or do you have a different tag that you use for this change in colour?

1b) Tag the truth .. and let the renders do there thing.. By tagging it as natural=wood it is misleading.. and does not conform to what is done elsewhere .. particularly in NSW where I have it all as landuse=forest ... :)

2) don't know what copyright restriction that may have .. is it compatible with OSM copyright requirements? That is a big problem with this type of stuff

3) The problem is the old relation is left behind with errors... I can delete it .. but I would like you to check the copyright in 2) before I do ... If there is a copyright problem then it is much easier to go back and remove the copyright stuff if I have not touched it.

Does Way: Second Avenue (61352394) join to Way: Second Avenue (12246622)?? At the moment they do not join.

If there is no join then the end of Way: Second Avenue (61352394) should have the node tagged noexit=yes. Otherwise they should be joined..

OSM outer ways of a multipolygon relations cannot overlap. So I have eliminated these sections where buildings 'join'.

1) I note that this state forest is for the production of timber? It would therefore be best tagged landuse=forest ...
2) Your source for changing the boundaries? You cannot use trees as these may exist outside the boundaries and may not exist inside the boundaries (as in they have been harvested in some areas).
3) The old relation is now broken ..

Ok. I think that suits it, but there may be a better tag out there somewhere.

Leaving it tagged without a physical feature means that the data users will through the information away, it has to have a tag to say what it is.
As you are familiar with it .. see what OSM physical tag suits it best and tag the way with it.
