HI,
Looks to me that the ABS data copyright is not useable in OSM ...
See https://www.abs.gov.au/website-privacy-copyright-and-disclaimer#copyright-and-creative-commons

Bugger, I just changed them with this changeset :(

Ok .. I'll change all these to ummm Toolebuc .. fingers crossed...

I'll have to go looking for Tooleybuc NSW and see if those are correct ...

Hi,

Thanks for adding these addressed .. but abbreviations should be expanded, in particular the addr:street should match the road name used in OSM including any capitalization. So Letitia st should be Letitia Street. That way the data matches when someone searches for it.

The sydney boundary is not something that should be changed to suit imagery.

Further the changes have resulted in the boundary relation being broken - no longer forming a continuous boundary.

Don't blame you for the confusion. If we had sanskrit or cyrillic we'd know know to spell things.

I'll fix it when I get back to it. I'm slowly working through an 'error' file from rendering an Australian map, Address errors were 3.3 Mb .. now down to 2.7 Mb most of them were capitation error that were easy and quick to fix. These types are messy and time consuming.

Hi,

Conflict of road names here

Toolebuc Road on the road itself
and
Tooleybuc Road on the farm addresses...

A google search has
Tooleybuc for Queensland
and
Toolebuc for NSW... sigh. Translations from Aborigine I assume.

Change these all to Tooleybuc ???

Hi,
Long time ago but these 'house numbers' would they not be 'addr:unit' sharing the same street and 'house number' for the Westminster Retirement Village ???

Hi
relation/16333552 (farmland) is not closed... so it is in error. Further it looks like it contains areas that are not farmland. In any case this needs looking at.

See https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=115.93064&lat=-33.00035&zoom=13&baselayer=Geofabrik%20Standard&overlays=duplicate_node%2Csingle_node_in_way%2Cduplicate_segment%2Cway_in_multiple_rings%2Cintersection%2Cintersecting_segments%2Cring_not_closed%2Ctouching_rings%2Crole_should_be_inner%2Crole_should_be_outer%2Cinner_with_same_tags%2Cways%2Cduplicate_node%2Csingle_node_in_way%2Cduplicate_segment%2Cway_in_multiple_rings%2Cintersection%2Cintersecting_segments%2Cring_not_closed%2Ctouching_rings%2Crole_should_be_inner%2Crole_should_be_outer%2Cinner_with_same_tags%2Cways

The road gets split where it changes speed limit, classification, surface and/or turn restrictions apply. Many roads are split into many segments. In this case there are 4 segments ... one is a bridge, one is a turn restriction and the other two are different classifications.

Consider Ryde Rd ... many different segments and not anything that combines them all.
