Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Instead of adding park tag to node, It would be great if you draw polygon around the park and use same tags to that. You can delete the node as it's not good to have park tag to node.Happy mapping.

As you mentioned that the park is split in different sections. It would be great if you map each section and give appropriate tags to them. Instead of giving land_use tags to the whole park, It's good to give respective tag to each section. Thank you for quick response.

Thanks for replying back. The landuse_1, landuse_2 tags you added do not render on OpenStreetMap.

I guess the doubt is between whether this area on the ground is a grass, recreation_ground, park or a pitch. I suggest looking at these wiki links

1.Park - leisure=park

2. Grass - landuse=grass

3. Recreation tag landuse=recreation_ground

4. Pitch -
leisure=pitch

Please add whichever you feel is appropriate from your local knowledge and remove the other tags.
