just asking
what is the source for this?
I could be wrong here, but my understanding was always that Turnpike is tolled, (node/9043777664 and others), so then why did you set it to toll=no. if I'm wrong obviously please correct me, I just want to ensure that everything stays as accurate as possible.
I really dont know if this applies, and if so how far back, because while there is a toll booth(node/465395395), it is only on one end and not the other so I can't tell if it would be better to just leave the node with the toll booth and keep toll=no or to have the toll=yes. this is because from how I see this it is rather unclear were the toll=yes should start and end.
clarifying, if the ways that I doubt are valid are valid, they are indoor corridors so I tagged all of them as such and if any turn out to be invalid they will just be removed, this ensures that the ones that are valid end up tagged correctly in the mean time since it may be a significant amount of time untill I can verify the validity of all of these since they are in a US airport.
I doubt that these roads are tolled, what is the source for this commit?
I doubt that secondary roads should have toll=yes on them, what is the source for this commit
starting off with a slight disclaimer here, I do not know the area but, why did you completely remove all data from Alabama River Parkway, what is the source for this. since data such as name=Alabama River Parkway, and toll=no are completely valid data. also dont just remove name_1, convert it to alt_name (for more info see osm.wiki/w/index.php?title=Key:name_1).
from what I can tell traffic signals should not have toll information on them, like what would that even mean, that there's a camera on it, then there is specific tagging for that and thus should be used over toll=yes. also what is the source for this.
I am a little confused here, Maneesh Mahlawat you said "Thank you for reverting this change" yet this data is still there, who reverted what, I dont see any such reverts.
before this was committed it had toll=no, what source do have as to that changing.
I have never been in the area, but I doubt that secondary and tertiary roads have a toll on them, I may be wrong. it is important to note that on of the roads already had toll=no on it so it makes me skeptical about this commit. someone with local knowledge or that can survey this information should take a look at this and see if it is accurate. for the committer, what is the source for all of this.
question, what is the source for all of this.
thank you so much for taking your time to contribute towards making OSM as good as possible, I just have one small note here. next time you commit could you please leave a better change set comment, something describing what you did. for this commit it would be something like "added stop signs to EPCOT parking lot and specified position of disabled parking", this is so that other who are looking at the commits know what they are looking at from the get go. for more information see the following wiki page: osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments
question, why did you remove the Arsenicker Keys, from what I can tell these exist, for reference see the Wikipedia article on them: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arsenicker_Keys
yes, please provide more detail change set comments
next time you commit can you please leave a more descriptive comment. "." doesn't really tell others what you did in a commit. for more information see osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments.
I typoed at the end of the message. there is still work needed in the area though this commit deals with some of the most misaligned roads in the area.
work still needed in the area, mostly on TIGER realignment though some sidewalks and foot paths also have poor alignments
next time please leave a comment describing what you have done in the commit, for more information see osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments
