Currently (July 2025), roadworks are ongoing, but even when they are finished, the crossing will only be accessible for pedestrians, bicycles and alike. The decision by the stadt Bad Bentheim city council can be found in Beschlussvorlage - VO 2025/065 entered on Mar 24, 2025 and decision taken on Apr 23, 2025.
