W. Myrtle Ave. to W. Orangewood Ave.
Roadway and drainage improvements include the removal and reconstruction of the existing pavement, the installation of new curb/gutter, sidewalk and roadway medians, and the replacement/relocation of utilities. Construction is currently scheduled to begin in October and is anticipated to take approximately 4 months to complete.

Beginning 5 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 2, southbound 55th Ave. will be closed between Riviera Dr. and Cactus Rd. for roadway widening/construction activities. During the closure, the northbound travel lane will remain open. Local traffic may use Sunnyside Dr., Cactus Rd., 57th Ave. or 53rd Ave. as an alternate route.
