Hallo Wandelaar123,

Bij OpenStreetMap verwijderen we over het algemeen geen privé-objecten als deze nog bestaan. In plaats daarvan voegen we access=private toe.

Zie bijvoorbeeld: osm.org/edit?editor=id#map=21/52.1905798/6.1374518

Zou je kunnen toelichten hoe dit zit?
We hebben hierover ook een forumdiscussie lopen. Jouw uitleg zou hier gewaardeerd worden https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/nieuwe-mapper-verwijdert-data-uit-osm/99681/52

Hello Mwiche
Thanks for your response,

When you load overpass querries in to JOSM it is really easy to forget about pre-existing objects that have not been loaded.

The things I mentioned do not have anything to do with satelite imagery, but rather with creating duplicated data.

Take for example this substation that you added way/1359283573
It almost exactly overlaps with an older generic `landuse=industrial`. way/1278826880
This means that there are now 2 objects that map the same thing. A better way to go about this is to update the already existing way.

Sincerely,
Taya Snijder

The same goes for these 2 lines which you duplicated

Hello Mwiche,

Please check for pre-existing landuses. You again created a new way that overlapped an already existing one.

Hi Mwiche,

I noticed that you created a number of ways that overlap already mapped substations/industrial areas.

Old ways:
way/611221500
way/611221499
way/345239673

Ways you added:
way/1358999567
way/1358999566
way/1359008051

Sincerely,

Hello MKartes,

It seems that you are coming to OSM to map for some sort of game, is this correct? And if so, would you mind telling me the name of the game?

Mapping in OpenStreetMap because you wish to play a game that uses our map is totally fine, but you are expected to follow the same mapping standards as everyone else.

There are some issues with the names you have given these farmlands, as it is unlikely for all these farmlands to have simple numbers as names. Would you mind removing these?

You can read more about how to get started and good practises on our wiki:
osm.wiki/Good_practice
osm.wiki/Editing_Standards_and_Conventions

Happy mapping,
Taya Snijder on behalf of the Data Working Group
