I would certainly disagree with this being trunk. The established convention is that trunk (in Canada) would be a non-freeway that is part of the National Highway System, and for the Winnipeg area, they would be Provincial Trunk Highways 1, 75, 100, and 101.

The previous classifications do have an effect on routing, so please stop reverting changes that should better help. Sorry that I might call you stubborn about this, but please don't touch road classifications without providing good reasons why the previous classification is right.

I really don't see anything that makes the roads you mentioned trunk road (and keep it so). As long as I can say, roads like EDSA, C-5, Roxas Boulevard and Road 10 better qualify as trunk as the main routes between SLEX and NLEX until Skyway Stage 3 opens. If possible, please ask the community first before you change any road classifications you don't think to be correct.

I don't see GPS signal issues as a reason to tag them as covered (see covered=yes page on OSM Wiki).
