I believe that "Purple Street" etc. are from some learnosm / teachosm test data. I've reverted the changeset in changeset/152499193 .

@GbiriJoe somehow you've managed to combine the training data ("Red Street" etc.) with actual new things that you want to add. If you try again, but don't go near the training data, all should be OK.

I've also split the Leeds and Bradford ones into separate routes here.
relation/8148367 is Harrogate, with a bit of a gap in it.
relation/5352963 is Leeds, which has the one signpost of any of the three.
relation/17696422 is Bradford (the one one).
Where there was a mismatch between "named ways" and the relation I've gone with named ways, because the adder of the named ways matched routes on the ground where it was verifiable (e.g. in Harrogate on the Ringway).
However, https://www.dalesway.org/link_routes.htm is vague enough that several alternatives may be "correct".

This is removing a section of nonexistant duplicate railway near Esholt. There is only one feature here and it's now a track, which has also been marked as railway=abandoned.
Sources is familiarity with the line from Apperley Bridge both from above (on trains) and below (on the canal).

You're right that there's nothing on the ground for node/7568949265/history (I was there yesterday) - maybe just delete it and leave way/1279674003 ?

Have you tried looking at the history to see which is correct for which part of the road?
Removing "obviously wrong" data without fixing the underlying problem doesn't help get the data correct.
