It really isn't very helpful to just write "fixed borders" in a comment. What change were you making here and what source did you use?

In changeset/142961515 I've also changed https://osm.mapki.com/history/relation/2814125 to the new name; that had got changed by Barroszt in changeset/142865556 as well.

Дякуємо за повторне додавання правильних нових назв до Багринова вулиця (переписка https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/how-about-limit-new-accounts/101656/233). Я також повторно додав сюди old_name:ru, оскільки це _було_ дійсне ім’я до перейменування, яке відбулося після торішнього російського вторгнення в Україну.

Thanks for re-adding the correct new names to Багринова вулиця (following https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/how-about-limit-new-accounts/101656/233 ). I've also re-added old_name:ru here since it _was_ a valid name before the renaming that happened after last year's Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Regardless of how they were added, and separately from whether I personally think they're a good idea or not, it makes sense to discuss whether they should be there or not. Taking an example, https://map.atownsend.org.uk/maps/osm-deep-history/#/node/597395247 shows that the story is fairly complicated.
In the case of GB edits, the best place to discuss is the talk-gb mailing list as it'll reach most people.
It should also be mentioned that mass removing or mass-changing tags automatically added by the most popular OSM editor is clearly silly without changing that editor; they will only get re-added.

Do you mean Armenian here? If ao, that is normally "hy", and I am very suprised that there is not a _current_ name in that language.

Not easily, as it's not as local to me as it was 13 years ago(!). I probably added a fixme then because what I wrote down didn't match OS OpenData StreetView. It could be that the signage then said "Batewood", or that I wrote it down wrong, or it might even be inconsistent at each end (there are plenty of examples of that round here). If a local has contacted you and said "the name here is X" I'd believe them.
