there are 2-3 shallow steps here with a ramp next to the building. the ramp has a handrail and tactile paving, but no tactile warning of the steps.

Looks as though the A515 S of the junction with Washbrook Lane (ie in Fenny Bentley) is called Ashbourne Road. My sister descended a steep & loose path hereabouts direct to Ilam Rock & the footbridge. It's not on OSM, but from her description obvious from above, whereas the it not obvious that the public footpath continued.

Now just The Pheasant, under new ownership since 2018, somewhat more casual dining I believe
