Sounds like it wasn't even built. It certainly no longer exists. Features that no longer exist (if ever) don't belong on OSM and should be removed. "Historical" features belong on OHM instead.

This bike path does not exist

Painted Post/Riverside/Corning, NY: Does this part of the Painted Post Path/Corning Bike Path exist (the part east of the Cutler Avenue Extension/Western Lane intersection)? Part of it just looks like railroad tracks.

user Milo Miller has put what looks like a lot of spam on the map, in particular in this area. I have tried to cleaned up what I can verify but others please take a look at the users changesets most are suspect and there is more to address...

No railway here.... No tracks. Not sure why it is on the map.
