Hello. I replied to you in a private message.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to ask.

In response to your questions:

1- Yes, there is a Square database that is updated in the repository, which you can monitor via the link in the node comments. All the information is verified with Square.

2- All Square merchants have a POS where they are set up to accept payments in Bitcoin.

I hope your questions have been clarified.

Hello, on #btcmap we use that tag to indicate that this payment method is used in businesses. It’s uncommon, but it is used. Here’s a brief explanation of what Liquid is in Bitcoin; I hope it helps. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me.

"Bitcoin Liquid is a federated sidechain built on top of Bitcoin that enables faster, confidential, and lower‑fee transactions for exchanges, traders, and institutions. It also supports the issuance of digital assets and tokenized securities, allowing users to move value securely between the main Bitcoin blockchain and the Liquid network"

For better communication and understanding, you can write to me on Discord whenever you want.

Thank you very much for your contributions as well.

Hello, I see you are thoroughly reviewing my work, and that's good; it helps us fix what we might be doing wrong. In this case, the source tag 'local knowledge' means that I have extrapolated information from several sources, including that of the business owner, so I can confirm that the place exists in reality even if I haven't been there physically (you can see the #btcmap guide regarding this, which follows OSM rules).

https://gitea.btcmap.org/teambtcmap/btcmap-general/wiki

As for the verification of the node at the time of its creation, I have always used the check_date tag, and when it is verified by others who fill out the form for it, I use check_date:currency:XBT to indicate that the site accepts Bitcoin as a payment method on the day of its verification.

I want to mention that all the places I have added to the map are checked and re-checked; nothing is added lightly.
There is a prior verification, whether by email, the business's website, or calling the person directly.

If a site does not have a physical location on the map, I explain to the owner that it cannot be added because it violates OSM rules.

I hope you understand how things work in BTC Map.

If you have any other questions, please write on Discord.

Thank you very much, and have a great day.

Hello, yes, it means that I have been in contact with the business owners to add them to the map. They have messaged me via Telegram. Is there any problem with that?
