| 129110943 | Thank you for the correction. The number 43 was written especially large on the announcement board in front of the entrance. But seems to be a house number.

| 128979610 | Hi Chris,
So far I don't know any renderer that evaluates the additional tags at highway=crossing. Even OSMAND only gives the hint "crosswalk", where there is one. I don't mean to say that micro tagging is unnecessary, but it does dampen enthusiasm for beginners. I am not a beginner anymore, but I notice that it can quickly lead to misunderstandings because of different points of view, as it happened to me now.
I have almost no experience with reverting, neither passively nor actively. I myself have used this procedure only twice, where I made a small erroneous change - caused by myself. Some of the edits were detected by the JOSM Editor - which I use - before uploading. Thanks again

| 128979610 | Hi aharvey,
I have compared the English page and the German page.
It is also interesting for me that the tag sidewalk has changed a lot. So many additions to it have come up in the last few years that I unfortunately haven't kept track of. Also this link is helpful for me:
I'll look at this one a little later. But I already noticed that in the pedestrian area around Darling Harbour there is maxspeed=50, although no cars are allowed. Regarding highway=crossing see link:
Sorry that I'm not yet fit enough for the Australian OSM view.
The reverting thing is one of those critical things. I have not only made the offending edits but also weeded out other errors caused by Australians (e.g. houses connected to roads, which can easily happen because of the snap functionality).

| 128979610 | There are several ways to tag shared paths.
There are traffic signs that indicate this as well. Then it makes sense to choose this combination:
If the use of the common path (e.g. pedestrian) is recognizable, this combination makes sense (as I did it):
These variants and others are also described in the wiki (maybe only in the German version) |
|
| 128979610 | Sorry we are doing edits in OSM at almost the same time right now and have been interfering.
If a footpath is explicitly entered, the sidewalk tag is not necessary (see wiki). highway=crossing usually refers to a node (footpath crosses road). Tagging the footway as such is superfluous (see wiki and German OSM forum). |
|
| 128972087 | The oneway=no tag is a default value, therefore not necessary to use (see Wiki). |
